Invest in a Hygrometer!!

How’s the humidity and temp in your lashing environment?? It affects your adhesive, your retention and your clients experience. Every adhesive works best at different humidity levels.

Any time a student is having issues with retention, the first question I ask is, “how’s the humidity in your room?” Make your life easier and invest in a hygrometer.
They’re usually less than $20. Work smart, not hard

My name is Violet, I have been doing lash extensions for 8+ years. Currently, I am a licensed Esthetician and a Permanent Makeup Artist. I am a Women’s Empowerment Coach and an Adventure Enthusiast



A little about me:
I absolutely LOVE traveling, festivals, rock concerts, tattoos (getting them and giving them) and trying new experiences. I Love spending time with friends and making them get out of their comfort zones. I truly believe adventure is the key to a happy soul. If I’m not working or doing any of that, I’m hiding out at home with my dog, doing yoga or taking a nap. I’m a sleepy girl with a busy schedule 😊

Hates: littering, gossip and jokes about domestic abuse. I can joke about dark stuff, but not that.

I do NOT believe in competition, I believe in community and collaboration.

Knowing when NOT to lash is just as important as knowing how to lash. If you zoom in, you can see one eye has a good full lash line, the other eye? Not so much. At this point the client is better off wearing lash strips and using a lash growth serum til those baby lashes can hold some weight

Lash Myth: “Lash extensions damage your natural lashes”

If I had a 💵 for every time I heard this, I could retire ☀️🌊🏝

There’s some science behind lash extensions:

✨ isolation- you want 1 extension placed on one individual lash
✨ proper length and weight- if the extensions is too big or too heavy for your natural lash, it will weigh it down and cause to fall out prematurely

Following these two simple guidelines, avoids damage from improper application.

Remember, no one wants to be the lash tech that ruins lashes. Kills your business for sure 😫

Be patient with your self. Your first set will take hours. They won’t be perfectly straight. We all go through it, it’s all about practice and muscle memory. You got this! 💕

It’s difficult to tell if they were damaged from poor application or from being pulled out. Could also be a combination of both.

Lol it needs to be said. I run a business, not a hobby.

I saved and scraped to get where I am. No decision was ever made lightly. No business credit. Didn’t qualify for loans. No rich husband to fund me.

If it didn’t work, I had no safety net, no backup plan. I was going to make it work one way or another.

What I did have:
