What a week ✨

What an incredible honor it was to compete at Miss Teen Volunteer America and bring my platform to a national stage. Getting to perform in my very first talent competition was such a special moment for me, and sharing my story about dyslexia and perseverance made it even more meaningful

I am so grateful for the growth I’ve experienced in just a little over six weeks. This journey has pushed me, challenged me, and helped me grow in ways I never expected. I can’t wait to continue growing and to keep making you all proud

A huge thank you to my incredible coach, Lisa. Your guidance, belief in me, and constant encouragement have helped shape me into the competitor and young woman I am today. I am endlessly grateful for the time, heart, and wisdom you have poured into me!

Thank you to Allison DeMarcus for producing such an extraordinary show. The heart, organization, and passion you pour into this program is evident in every single detail. You have created a stage that celebrates service, leadership, and purpose, and it was truly an honor to be part of something so inspiring!!

Julianna, watching your growth from July to now has been so special, and I truly don’t think there is a better girl for this opportunity. Your kindness, dedication to service, and genuine heart for others make you the perfect person to carry this title. I cannot wait to watch you impact so many lives this year ❤️

Prelims Night 1 in the books! 💫

Growing up playing golf along side learning how to find my voice while struggling with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and ADHD I felt like it was important to intertwine to the two so enjoy little me with her big swing!!

Day 1 at Miss Teen Volunteer America ✨

From registration and finally getting to meet so many incredible girls from across the country, to orientation and our first official events together, today was the perfect start to an unforgettable week. I’m so grateful to be here and to represent New Mexico alongside such inspiring young women.

Thank you to the Mississippi Volunteer Pageant for hosting such a special Titleholder Meet & Greet to celebrate Miss Teen Volunteer America Izzy, and of course the cutest Puppy Party to end the night 🐶💙

Let the week begin!

March 1 marks the beginning of National Reading Month, and for me, this month is personal.

As Miss New Mexico Teen Volunteer, my platform Turn the Page was born from my own journey with a learning difference. I know firsthand how challenging reading can feel, but I also know the confidence, opportunity, and freedom that come when a child is given the right support and access to books.

Through partnerships with organizations like Reading is Fundamental, hosting book drives, sharing literacy statistics, and volunteering in my community, I am committed to ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed. Literacy is more than just reading words on a page.

It’s the foundation for confidence, education, and opportunity.

This National Reading Month, I challenge you to:
📖 Donate a book
📖 Volunteer at a local literacy program
📖 Read with a child in your life
📖 Advocate for equitable access to books
Together, we can Turn the Page toward a brighter future, one book at a time 💙

Pageantry has changed my life, and the empowering environment of the Miss Volunteer America organization has shaped me even more. From growing in my work with literacy and Turn the Page, embracing S.E.R.V.E. through my everyday actions and connecting with titleholders who are committed to changing lives, I’ve loved every minute of being involved with MTVA 🤍

Get ready for LOTS of content to come and a showcase into my week in Jackson. New Mexico Teen Volunteer will see y’all soon!

While these are the words that symbolize the crown of Miss Teen Volunteer, they mean so much more to me and my mission as a titleholder. From sharing my experiences as a senior in high school who spent months tackling college applications, my journey with literacy and love for
education evident through Turn the Page, the responsibility I take on as a titleholder, advocate, student and friend, weekly volunteering in my community and my love for empowering others through social media and pageantry, S.E.R.V.E. means more than just an acronym. It’s a way of
life 🤍

All in a New York minute 🤍

Got to spend the weekend modeling in New York!! So grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to getting back on the runway in March!!

Last one! Got to meet so many great people, and set up so many more volunteer opportunities! Hopefully we encouraged more kids to join competitive archery with NASP! Thank you to the Game and Fish for all you do it was such a fun weekend. Thank you to Mr. Larry for entering my cousin and I in the duck calling contest, and thanks to Game on for the prizes! Dream Catcher Outdoors for the hats! And so many new companies and creators, it was so great to be a part of this show that I grew up coming to, with you all!
