I have THE BEST CLIENTS! I’ve also been with the best clipper company BaBylissPRO Barber coming up on 9 years, owned my business for 8 years, & have been named one of the BEST in my city for 7 years in a row 😁🏆❤️‍🔥 forever thankful to GOD for all his blessings 🙏🏻

Six months ago, I decided it was time to start choosing myself 🤍

And looking at these pictures, I’m proud of the physical transformation… but to be honest, that’s only a small part of what these last six months represent.

This past year has been one of the hardest years of my life. One year ago I got divorced & I walked into a chapter of my life I never expected to be living. There were moments when I genuinely didn’t know what my life was going to look like on the other side of it.

But somewhere along the way, I stopped focusing on what I had lost and started focusing on what I could build.

I started going to the gym consistently. I started taking care of my body. I changed the way I ate. I pushed myself harder than I ever had before. I lost 40 pounds, gained strength, and became someone I’m genuinely proud of!

But the biggest transformation has nothing to do with a number on a scale.

It’s the confidence. The discipline. The self respect. The realization that I am capable of rebuilding my life from the ground up and making it even better than I imagined.. thanks to Lucas Hovis 🙏🏻 my coach really was the light that pulled me out of the darkness.

These pictures are six months apart, but the woman in the second picture is so much more than 40 pounds lighter. She’s stronger in every sense of the word 😌

I didn’t choose what happened to me this past year.
But I did get to choose what I did with it‼️‼️‼️

And I chose me ❤️‍🔥

Here’s to the woman I’m becoming, I’m just getting started. 🥂✨
