Just an "FYI" post, I typically do not communicate through DMs. I prefer texts/calls because I can keep track of them much easier. I also will respond much faster when contacted directly.

Guess who's ONE !?

A year ago, I started a new chapter in my hair career and opened my own business & studio, Dye Dye My Darling!

I am awestruck in all forms. Not because I didn't think I could make it, but because I actually did it! I took a leap of faith for my business all the while in the middle of a pandemic... and here WE are.

For some, this may not seem like a "big deal" but for me this is a feat and I cannot express my gratitude enough for all my clients, friends and family for continuously supporting my business and I.

There have been many times where I've had a sudden case of imposter syndrome causing me to doubt my skills, abilities and capabilities. Which, unfortunately, can be quite common for any artist.
But you've continued to believe in me!

My appreciation for everyone who has supported me in one way or another runs deep! And whether you've been coming to see me for 8+ years or 2 weeks, you all inspire me to keep pushing and creating. Your encouragement is always held in high regard.

Doing hair has long been more than just a hobby of mine. It is my career, my passion, my livelihood.
Doing hair is NOT just "doing hair." It requires attention, time, discipline, connection and respect. All in which, my clients deserve, too!
You are the reason I have made it this far. 🥲

It honestly has not "hit me" yet. Again, I am just completely awestruck.
Being 8+ years deep in the industry, this is the most proudest moment I've had in my career thus far.

I have worked my ass off this last year; I've cried, I've laughed, I've broken, I've celebrated and I'm here.
I'm a proud Indigenous hair artist and I am a proud Indigenous business owner.

Well, slightly over a month off! 😌
Starting today I will be on break until Friday, August 13th!
I am more than ready to take this time off for myself. As many of you know, I have been busting my ass and I am T I R E D 😮‍💨
These last 2 years have been a total whirlwind, and as extremely 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 as I am for every single one of you supporting me, I have overworked myself a bit which in turn has affected me physically and mentally. Thus, I'm ready to recharge and focus on me for a second. ✨🙏🏽
During this time, I will also be re-evaluating parts of my business which in turn will bring changes to 𝑷𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑮, 𝑻𝑰𝑴𝑰𝑵𝑮, and my 𝑺𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑫𝑼𝑳𝑬. The boundaries must be set and abided by. 🖤
Hopefully, this will be something that current and future clients will find easier, self explanatory and a success for you and I. The demand is great and it's time to raise the pedestal! Plus, this will then allow me to accept ✨ ＮＥＷ ＣＬＩＥＮＴＳ ! ✨

At this time, I am 𝐍𝐎𝐓 scheduling anyone! So 𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 refrain from contacting me about booking you right now because I have not even opened up my schedule for August and beyond. I will eventually announce when I will begin scheduling prior to my return so just stay posted to my page/stories so you know exactly when I will be accepting appointments.
