Per Governor Grisham’s executive order our salon is closed. As soon as we are given permission we will open again to provide you exceptional services along with the highest sanitation available. In the meantime stay safe and Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃🍽🍁

Dear Salon 47 Customers,

We value and appreciate each and every customer that comes through our doors. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve you here in our salon.

We have been informed that we can reopen June 1, 2020.
Given the new regulations and limitations from our governor concerning the current Covid-19 situation, we are taking steps to follow all rules. Our concern is for your safety and the safety of all our stylists and nail techs. As we have always been held to strict sanitation and sterilization laws, we will continue to clean and disinfect between every client. Please know if you have any concerns you can contact us to reschedule at any time. If you have been sick in the last 14 days please reschedule with your stylist/ nail tech. In the meantime here are some of the new guidelines:

*We will be working at a limited capacity inside our salon. If you have brought someone with you to your appointment they will not be allowed to enter.
*We will also be keeping the door locked so please text/call your stylist or knock when you arrive. We will not be accepting any walk in clients at this time.
*All clients must have an appointment scheduled to enter the salon.
*Stylists/ nail techs will be wearing masks/ face shields for everyones protection.
*CDC physical distancing with 6 foot spacing between each client will be kept.
*Clients will be asked to wash their hands or sanitize when they arrive
*Retail will be accessible by Stylist only. Please ask for assistance.

Please be patient with us as we take more time and caution in continuing to implement our strict sanitation guidelines.

If you have brought someone with you to your appointment they will not be allowed to enter. We will also be keeping the door locked so please call your stylist or knock when you arrive. We will not be accepting any walk in clients at this time. All clients must have an appointment scheduled to enter the salon.

Barbers and Cosmetologists Act

Dear Chair Garduno,

As per your request, this email is to provide clarification regarding any licensees that fall within the Barbers and Cosmetologists Act, I.e., hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, and eye brow threading salons, estheticians, etc. and whether they can remain open. Please be advised per the New Mexico Department of Health Order (the ‘Order’), any business located within an indoor shopping mall, must close and remain closed beginning tomorrow March 19th. Any business located outside of an indoor mall can remain open if they minimize staff and customer contacts, I.e., appointments only, and no more that 10 people in the area- separated by a six-foot distance. A copy of the order that will be entered tomorrow is attached hereto.

Please pass this information to all licensees that fall within the Barbers and Cosmetologists Act. Thank you!
