For the first seven years of my career as a cosmetologist I only performed color, cut & blowout services. When I finished cosmetology school, I thought I would specialize in nails because i loved the art design so much. Then something changed. I saw the artistry in hair. I mastered every hair cutting technique anyone would teach me. I did it over and over, day after day for seven years. It was my bread and butter. It is the hair’s guidance counselor and a part of its foundation.
Coloring came naturally. I loved the application, the formulating, the processing and the reveal. I learned the rules so I can tweak then when I needed to. Don’t have a certain developer in the shop and CosmoProf is closed? I can make it. Need to lift a natural level 3 to a 7 without lightener and before Olaplex was even invented? No problem.
When you have VISION you can bring the intangible to LIFE. That’s the art. That’s the true gift.
