The biggest mistake in life is believing that your skills will last forever. When you think that way, it’s easy to become complacent — you stop practicing, stop updating yourself, and stop improving. Then one day, you suddenly realize that a skill is only the result of consistent effort. If you don’t maintain it, it slowly fades away.

At that point, you may rush back to practice. But if you don’t understand the core foundation — the essence and underlying principles of that skill — then no matter how much you practice, it’s hard to regain your former level.

What truly matters is not practicing more, but rediscovering the root — the fundamental principles and the core issues behind the skill. Once you grasp that, you can genuinely rebuild and even strengthen your ability.

And the moment you reclaim that skill — through clarity and focused effort — becomes one of the happiest moments of all.
