Phanie’ is a professional Freelance Mobile Makeup Artist and Show Promoter. While living in California, Phanie’ was fulfilling her passion as a Soul Train featured dancer until the unmanageable life changing accident occurred, that ended her dream as a dancer. For three months she could not walk and for years had to endure physical therapy and surgeries. After months and months of challenging progression, Phanie’ was released for Vocational Rehabilitation. To continue to stay in the artistic industry, she decided to go into a field she saw as quite interesting; makeup artistry. With that said, she set her goals on a new career by attending Joe Blasco Makeup Artistry school for her Vocational Rehab. Once graduating from Joe Blasco, Phanie’ began her internship as an makeup artist under a National known celebrity photographer and hair show promoter. Eventually, her internship lead to a position as one of his team traveling freelance makeup artist. As one of his team artist, Phanie’ knew it was time to established a logo name for her freelance makeup business. With much forethought, Phanie’ realized the name had to be personal, with a purposeful meaning that did not make young ladies or adult women feel as if makeup was the key for being beautiful, that beauty goes further than on the outside. At that instant, is when she realized Beauty By Far, (BBF) would be the perfect name to advocate to women, that beauty is inside and out as well as in the eye of the beholder. In 2005, Phanie’ launched BBF, Freelance Mobile Make-up business while residing in California. Phanie’s personal makeup service consist of basic/glamour, weddings, editorial, film, and Avant-Guarde makeup. As a show Promoter, Phanie’ produced the first Makeup Artist Show and Competition in Little Rock, AR. Under the umbrella of BBF, is Kaleidoscope Face Painting. Phanie’ is a true advocate in pushing the importance of knowing your values as well as setting your goals in order to bring your dreams to fruition.
