Update regarding the use of masks per Gov. Ivey.

Praise the Lord, today is our first day back!!!! Just wanted everyone to know that all of our stylists have completed our Barbicide Certification. We are dedicated to having a clean and safe work environment for our stylists and our clients. As always, thank you for your support!❤

Great news!!!! We are officially allowed to open on Monday the 11th. If you have asked your stylist to add you to their list, you will be contacted by her and an appointment will be made. If haven't asked to be put on our list please contact your stylist and let her know. Please please be patient!!! We have eight weeks of appointments to catch up on. Please give us time.

Here are some things we are asking everyone to please do.

Please wear a mask, stay in your car until your stylist texts you to come in, only the person with the appointment can come inside the salon, and bring limited belongings in with you. We may take your temperature. You will be asked to sanitize or wash your hands and go directly to your stylist chair. We will also be wearing a mask and everything will be disinfected and sanitized between each client. Thank you for your patience with all of this!❤

It is with great disappointment that I have to announce that we will not be opening our door right now.

As of today the Alabama Covid-19 task force is telling us it will be May 15th.

Please hang in there with us and I will update as soon as I know something about is being able to get back to the salon. We love you all!❤

Dear clients of J.Cole Salon,

The state of Alabama's Covid-19's committee had a press conference this morning regarding the opening of several business in what they are calling "Phase One". As one of those businesses we have reviewed the requirements that we need to meet to be able to open the door of J. Cole again. These are what the requirements state and are posting here, on instagram, and also will have the requirements posted on the business door. When we are able to start making appointments for our clients again your stylist will go over what is required of you, the client, per the state committee and Gov. Ivey.

-If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been around anyone exhibiting symptoms, PLEASE reschedule your appointment.
-You are required to wait in your car until your stylist either calls, texts, or comes to the door to let you in before entering the salon.
-ONLY the person who has the appointment will be allowed in the salon during their appointment time.
-We ask that you please wear a mask also.
-When you enter the salon, please sanitize your hands and go directly to your stylist’s chair.
-You may be checked with a thermometer to assure you are not running a fever.
-All stylists will wear all proper PPE during your appointment.


We will be working diligently, as we always have, to ensure proper cleansing, disinfecting, and sanitizing of the salon at the start of the day, after each client, and at the end of the day. Please, Please, Please be PATIENT with us as we have weeks of backed appointments and we are only one person with two hands. We promise to do our best to get you and appointment in a timely manner, but please remember that we have families and small children/ grandchildren that we are responsible for also. We will first be making appointments in order of who was booked at the beginning when we were shut down through when we get to open our door. Our main concern is our clients. We love you all like you are our family. We have missed you all and cannot wait to get back behind the chair. As always we appreciate your business and your support.
