A True Classic Barbering Legend

We’re proud to welcome Bob Perry to our team at The Ultimate Barber.

Bob is a seasoned master barber with deep roots in Alexandria, VA. He began his barbering journey in 1979 and made history by becoming the first barber to introduce the fade haircut to the city. In 1983, he opened his own barbershop, which he successfully ran for 25 years, earning the respect and loyalty of generations of clients.

Now at 72 years young, Bob brings an unmatched level of experience, precision, and traditional craftsmanship to our team. He embodies the essence of old-school barbering—where skill, service, and style come together in every cut. Whether you’re looking for a classic gentleman’s cut, a clean taper, or a timeless hot towel shave, Bob delivers with care and consistency.

Carlos is a rising talent in the world of barbering. While new to the barbershop setting, he’s no stranger to the clippers. What sets him apart is his attention to detail, passion for the craft, and his commitment to mastering every aspect of the trade.

Carlos brings a fresh energy and a great personality that clients immediately connect with. He’s focused, professional, and always striving to deliver a precise, polished cut. Whether it’s a sharp fade, a clean lineup, or a custom style, Carlos approaches each haircut like a work of art.

Since December 2016, Kirk Cook has been a cornerstone of The Ultimate Barber team. As one of our most seasoned barbers, Kirk brings not only years of experience but also a deep commitment to service and excellence.

A proud father and grandfather, Kirk is the kind of barber who treats every client like family. His warm personality, calm demeanor, and genuine care make every visit to his chair a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Kirk is well-versed in a wide range of styles and techniques, consistently delivering clean, precise cuts tailored to each individual. Clients love him—not just for his skill, but for the positive energy he brings into the shop every day.
