A hard pill to swallow? Just because the picture is pretty, doesn’t mean you should do it. 😬 Let me explain...

It’s so easy to get caught up in the latest hair trends, especially when you’re looking for “something different”. 🤔 With the pandemic, I’ve been getting a lot of requests to do something different due to being bored and wanting a new look.

Platinum hair, colorful money pieces, curtain bangs, and the list continues for the current looks that are all the rage right now! But have you stopped to consider if it’s a change or commitment you’re ready for? 👀

If you know me, you know I don’t often cut bangs. 😂 But this is because most people aren’t ready or willing to 1- keep up with them, and 2- style them... every... day. The pink or blue money piece trend you see around? Well, depending on your hair, we have to get you pretty light for it. 😊 But then you have to consider that semi-permanent colors only last but so many shampoos before they fade out completely or turn into some weird color because of the undertones. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Oh, and that platinum/silver color you’re feeling? May not suit your complexion! 😳 Being super blonde is fun, but sometimes a warmer tone may be absolutely perfect for you instead. Moreover, platinum is a serious commitment (remember my post about Victoria seeing me every 7 weeks? Yeah, THAT type of commitment). ❄️

At the end of the day, stylists will give you what you ask them for. 😄 Just don’t hesitate to ask us for another opinion. We wanna love your hair just as much as you do! 😉🧚🏽‍♀️
