Welcome to 2026! lol

I know, I'm about 5 months late sending out my 2026 upcoming changes announcement, but it is what it is.

The Glass Menagerie has some upcoming changes and I wanted to give everyone a heads up.

You may have noticed that the scheduling system is not allowing booking past February of 2027, this is to protect my schedule from being full before I can get a chance to change the available hours in the booking system. There will also be some potential adjustments before then, accommodating existing appointments as currently scheduled.

The Glass Menagerie hours will be cutting to 50 hours per week, to include business admin time. This means there will be only about 40 hours of client time per week. Currently The Glass Menagerie handles a *minimum* of 60 client hours per week plus admin time, so this adjustment is not going to happen overnight. It will ramp down throughout the year as we adjust together towards our new schedule.

To that end, we feel it would be unfair for us to pick and choose which clients continue to come in so appointments will still be available first booked first served, and we will be increasing our pricing to $200 per hour in September, exact date to be determined. Our pricing will still be inclusive of our suggested take-home products, snacks, drinks, fun little goodies, and gratuity so there are no hidden fees and no downgrades.

We look forward to continuing to care for as many of you as we can, and we're happy to get you your notes/formula information and/or hair extensions color and brand listings if our pricing or available hours are no longer a good fit for you.

If you are looking to transition to a new stylist before the holidays due to these changes please let me know so I can assist that transition and avoid having your first new stylist appointment be right before big holiday events.
