I need y’all to see this. Think about how long this clip is - and it has been edited down - and it is only one, tiny part of one aspect (brows) of the entire makeup look. Great makeup takes time. And what you don’t see on the red carpet is the makeup artist, hair stylist, stylist and assistant on the other side of the cameras waiting to swoop in should the tiniest thing fall out of place. THIS IS NOT REAL LIFE. Embrace the smudges and unfinished looks and imperfection. Because that’s real life. And in the words of legendary makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, “No amount of makeup can mask n ugly heart.” ♥️
