We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in the following areas:

Customer Experience Intern
Social Media & Marketing Intern
Finance or Accounting Intern

Each internship runs for 12 weeks, with flexible hours to accommodate school and work schedules.

Internship Details
Compensation: $12 per hour, up to 20 hours per week.
Schedule: In-salon/studio work 1–2 days per week.
Academic Credit: All internships are for academic credit. Paid employment opportunities may become available based on performance during or upon completion of the internship.
Experience: Gain hands-on experience with a professional beauty and wellness organization while developing valuable industry skills.

Social Media & Marketing Intern

VELVET Wax & Beauty is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to support our management team with marketing initiatives, content creation, and digital engagement.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and has an interest in photography, video production, or digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Create engaging social media content using photos, videos, and web-based materials.
Assist with real-time social media promotion during events and promotional days.
Monitor social media platforms and engage with customers online.
Track and analyze social media and Google Analytics performance.
Assist with creating and managing social media campaigns.
Draft and edit email marketing content.
Support live events and marketing initiatives.
Assist with other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Current college student or prospective college student.
Strong awareness of social media trends.
Proficiency in using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
Experience creating Reels and TikToks.
Knowledge of CapCut and basic video editing.
Ability to take high-quality photos and videos.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Interest in the beauty and wellness industry is a plus, but not required.
Must have access to a computer and smartphone.

Photography students and aspiring content creators are especially encouraged to apply!
