The salon looks high-end inside & out, like it should be in downtown Birmingham, but its actually very affordable (some might even say cheap) & close to Allen Park Schools! They advertise $10 cuts, which was perfect since I had my kids with me. I was surprised a stylist (Tony) was able to take care of us without an appointment. Tony was very patient with my kids and checked with me often to make sure I was happy with the cut.

I asked about coloring my hair, it was a third of what some of my girlfriends were paying! I figured I would have to set up an appointment for something like that, but again, Tony was able to accomodate me right then & there. I know a lot of places say they take walk-ins, but then they keep you waiting, or the colorist isn't in, or they don't do kids hair.

Most of their stylists can do either men or womens hair, but they also have barbers who do mens hair exclusively. I think what I liked best (besides all the compliments I've been getting on my color) was that I could bring in the whole family. The interior design is modern/sleek- so my husband doesn't feel like he's walking into a beauty parlor. He kept going on and on about how comfortable the leather chairs in the waiting area. I'm just glad he finally has a good barber- since I'm the one who has to even it out when he gets those Fantastic cuts ;-)
