We started together at the park. I ran 2 miles while they walked peacefully. Then I hurried to catch up and finished the walk slowly with them.

It's okay to feel low, even when you believe. The beauty of faith isn't avoiding the bad days, it's knowing you have an Anchor to ask for warmth. I prayed for a sign, for His hand to guide me through the overwhelming emotions. The answer came through this stunning flower design in a complimentary coffee, a beautiful, immediate reminder that I am seen and loved.

This morning I totally forgot to grab groceries for the week 😅 but at least I came up with a game plan for tomorrow’s meals.

Since I usually don’t eat breakfast until 10 or 11am, I’m not too worried about myself. But my kids? That’s another story. Both are going to gymnastics summer camp and practicing for 5 hours straight, so I need to make sure they’re fueled up, even if they don’t like to eat much in the morning.

🥪 For Aramis: A turkey and cheese sandwich (might sneak in an egg too 😏), plus yogurt and cheese crackers for snack.
🍳 For Angelix: A veggie omelet with 2 turkey sausages, some crackers, and probably the same snack as Aramis.

As for me? Coffee first ☕! Always! Then after about an hour (so I don’t block iron absorption 🤓), I’ll have my omelet with muenster cheese.

I’m doing my best to keep them strong, healthy, and energized for those long practice days 💪💫

Hi! It's been a while since I really focused on taking care of myself, but I'm ready to start again, beginning with fitness.

The first step is nutrition. Eating healthy foods isn’t a problem for me, but sticking to regular meal times is. I tend to eat whenever I feel like it throughout the day. One thing I’ve been doing is stopping my meals around 6–7 p.m. and leaving at least 16 hours before eating again, to help balance my blood sugar. Now, I just need to figure out how to consistently schedule my meals and create a routine that works for me.
