I understand traditional medicine, as well as spiritual practice, and offer a nonjudgmental, holistic approach to well-being that works on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Everyone needs not only to listen to their own wisdom but also have active Life Listening where they feel heard and seen in all aspects of their being as a whole person. It is the vision of this holistic health practice to integrate modalities that address the needs of the individual that are often not met within the traditional medical model. As a nurse of over 25 years, I have seen how this is often overlooked causing pain and suffering. It was my personal experience with massage and other complementary therapies after injury rather than medical treatment alone that restored me. Over that long journey, the vision of Life Listening was born to blend Eastern and Western approaches to health and well-being utilizing massage for the body, Holistic Life Coaching using the Flinders Chronic Condition Management Interview Process and Tools for the mind, and Reiki for the spirit. I have worked successfully in the healthcare field in multiple roles as a nurse, hospital supervisor, and practice coach for over 25 years. I earned my BSN from Cedar Crest College and received my Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Additionally, I am a Master Trainer for the Flinders Chronic Condition Management Program. Areas of special interest are spirituality, resiliency, mentoring, and holistic self-care. My mission is to restore, renew and rejuvenate the whole person - mind, body and spirit.
