This client has insanely thick hair and such a petite build. She felt her hair was too heavy but wasn’t sure what to do with it.
As a busy nurse, most days she threw it up in a pony tail. It was too much to attempt to style, her hair didn’t fit into her always on the run lifestyle.

We ended up doing a root touch up and layering her hair, which got rid of the over processed dark ends (from old box dye) and really allowed those natural curls (she didn’t know you even had) to shine through ✨💇🏻‍♀️

This small choice has made a huge difference in her confidence, her morning routine, and her style. She can now wash her hair, add in her favorite gel and wave products and go, saving this busy nurse a lot of time in her morning routine.

I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Christina LaBertew-Clark.
I am currently a cosmetology student at Bella Capelli Beauty Academy in Monroeville, PA.
I graduate in less than a month!!

I currently assist Sandie Scott at the incredible Salon U in Allison Park, PA.

I’m also an EMT and worked in healthcare prior to following my passion into the beauty industry.

I’ve always loved doing hair, all through middle school and high school I experimented with every single shade of red you can think of.
All of my free time was spend learning how to do different hair styles and colors.

I have found my passion/calling. Doing hair doesn’t feel like working, it feels like hanging out with the best of friends and having fun.
I enjoy pampering others and helping them love the way they look and embrace their uniqueness.

I am planning on specializing in color corrections, blonding, grey blending and extensions.
