Did you know that the diaphragm is an involuntary muscle? This means it works automatically, much like our digestive system. Its primary role is crucial for breathing, as it expands the rib cage when we inhale and contracts when we exhale.

However, unlike other involuntary muscles, we can consciously control the diaphragm through breathing exercises. This ability allows us to improve our breathing techniques and even manage stress more effectively.
