We’re so excited to announce that Bennett Lee Barnes made his arrival on 12/16/24 at 11:10pm. Weighing 8lbs 15oz and 21 inches long. He is the perfect addition to our family. And this is extra special because he gets to carry on the Lee name from my Dad and I. Our family is complete and we are in love💙💜🩵🩵

🌿we are a team of like-minded stylists with a goal to provide an approachable, solutions based salon space.

🌿we are only 20 minutes from Lynchburg and 36 minutes from Danville and I PROMISE… it will be worth the short drive.

🌿 you also don’t need to stop for coffee because we make a mean latte - iced or hot!

Mint & Honey is looking to complete our team with one part time associate stylist, one full time established stylist, and an assistant.

Ideal candidates for our associate / assistant stylist position are driven, warm, professional and ready to build a career as a focused hair colorist. Availability for this position would be Thursday, Friday and two Saturdays a month to start and that schedule would expand as your clientele grew.

We are also open to an established stylist to join our team. Someone with an existing clientele base that is looking for a team based atmosphere, who is ready to become a stronger stylist, professional and willing to learn and also share their gifts with our team and community. Ideal work schedule would be 4 days a week.

We offer a flexible work schedule, ongoing education, team support and trainings and paid time off.

Mint & Honey stylists have their customers experience as their top priority. Are driven and SO supportive of each other and I am proud to know these wonderful ladies. We would love to have the opportunity to add the perfect fit to our team!

Hello everyone! It’s been a while! My heart is a little fuller since the last time you saw me.

I wanted to let you all know that I am starting back at work the first Tuesday of December for limited availability as my hours have changed. I will be in the salon on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30-4! As most of you know, we’ll be welcoming our sweet baby boy next month!! With that being said, this is my last month taking appointments! My online schedule is now open for business and spots are filling up quickly. If it’s not showing up on the website, it’s already been booked! ✨Announcement ✨

Guys… I could not be more proud to tell you that our sweet and talented Emily is opening her very own salon suite!! Although, we are going to miss her dearly she is SO READY for this next step in her career. She will be located in Roanoke, Va (not that far!!) starting September 2nd. Emily is currently taking August appointments at Mint, which you can book using the link in our (or her) bio. You can also go ahead and book at her new location in Roanoke (visit the link in her bio ) for September and beyond!
It has truly been a pleasure to work with Emily for the past two and a half years. She is so creative and passionate and it rubs off on everyone! I am so grateful to have had the experience to work beside her and learn from her passion.
