I just want to take a minute to talk about this transformation for people thinking of transitioning to blend gray, or even just going from a dark permanent color/box dye to blonde.

I will ALWAYS suggest doing big transformations in sessions rather than one big color correction. That’s just my personal preference as a hairstylist. This transformation took us 5 sessions. Which yes isn’t the fastest process but it was the healthiest way for us to achieve this look. It also helped my client to slowly get use to the huge new change in stages than all at once. This new look has now made her the lowest of low maintenance clients! She will have no grow out line and will only need to get toners if she feels like her blonde is becoming a little too brassy or not ashy enough! No more every 3 weeks to cover gray with a dark black color for her😊

I just wanted to take a moment and reintroduce myself! My name is Chloe Hanslow! I’m 20 years old. (21 in March🥂)
I am a stylist at VSalon in downtown Alton, IL. I’ve been a stylist for a little over a year & a half now! My passion is for blondes, dimensional/lived-in looks, and bridal updos. In my free time I love spending time with my friends & family. My favorite place to travel is anywhere with a beach. I have a black lab named Buster! He’s the goodiest boy. I have an obsession with Mexican food! (Mostly just chips & queso) and lastly you’ll never catch me during a work day without my Stanley & my 32oz fountain Diet Pepsi🥤(hot take but I’m not a coffee hairstylist)
