One of the greatest jazz legends of all time, Miles Davis, was born right here in Alton, Illinois. ❤️ Today my grandbaby and I stopped by his statue, and it made me smile knowing my family’s name is also on one of the commemorative bricks nearby.

It’s always a good feeling to celebrate where you come from. 💛
