The Building II

Today I always think about what I was doing on 9/11. The usual Building personalities were milling about. Mike Izz, Romo, Joe Moran. After the first plane hit we were mostly wondering how a plane could do that much damage. Not realizing what kind of plane. As the second plane was inbound Joe Moran, ran over to the desk and said there was another plane as we turned towards the TV we witnessed the magnitude of what was happening. And it became more clear. Soon after Mike was shooting upstairs with Romo rebounding as the third plane hit the Pentagon. We began talking about the who and the why.
Most of the people at the gym today weren’t born yet or were very small children when the world changed forever.

My mom found this while cleaning some things out of her house. If you knew my dad at all he was insanely proud of being on that 10-0 1962 Team.
