Two years ago, even sitting in the chair felt impossible.
We didn’t start with scissors.
We started with trust… with patience… with simply brushing his hair and showing him he was safe.
Little by little, appointment by appointment, he let me in.
Today, he walked into his school picture day proud of his haircut—and his grandma brought me this photo to keep. And I can’t even put into words what that means to me.
This isn’t just a haircut.
This is trust. This is courage. This is a reminder that sometimes the biggest transformations take time.
