We started with several different tones throughout, and getting everything brighter and more blended took some careful work.

There’s still a little warmth in places, and that’s okay, icy blonde transformations like this are a process, especially when we’re working with previous color.

I’m so happy with how far we got in this session, and I can’t wait to see where we take it next! ✨

A little change for September! 🖤

For the entire month of September, I’m doing something a little different with tips.

Instead of tipping me after your appointment, I’m asking that if you would normally leave me a tip, please consider donating that amount to the Olustee Basketball Court Project instead.

You can donate through Cash App, Venmo, or cash, and every dollar given in lieu of a tip will go directly toward the court. 🏀

My clients support me and my business all year long, and I’m so incredibly thankful for that.

For one month, I’d love to take that extra kindness you normally show me and redirect it toward something that is so near and dear to my heart.

There is absolutely no obligation to tip or donate. I simply want anyone who would have tipped me to know that, for September, I’d much rather see those dollars go toward creating something our kids and community can enjoy for years to come.

Sometimes the best summer accessory is about 18 inches less hair. 🖤🖤

Sometimes we try to summon cooler weather by doing fall inspired hair 🖤🖤

✨ 6 hours. One color correction. One very happy back-to-school girl. ✨
This transformation was definitely a labor of love!
We started at 12:30 PM and wrapped up right around 6:00 PM, and every minute was worth it.
Our first challenge was removing the green. We carefully lifted it all the way to a beautiful blonde so we had a clean canvas to work with. Then it was time to tackle the black. Since her goal was a rich, dimensional brunette, there was no need to lift it all the way to blonde. Instead, I lifted it to about a level 6 warm orange, which was the perfect foundation for her final color.
⏰ The color removal process alone took right at 3 hours!
Once we had our canvas ready, we finished with an all-over rich brunette color and added a partial highlight to create softness, dimension, and shine.
These are the kinds of appointments that remind me why I love what I do. Color corrections take patience, planning, and a whole lot of trust from my clients.
I'm so excited that this sweet girl gets to head back to school feeling beautiful, confident, and completely refreshed. 🖤
