This super mom of 7 kids has been trying to transition from root color to her natural. We’ve been only doing pops of fun colors while it grew then maybe tone it ashy to blend her sparkle, wellllll plans change😅 Realistically her hair will never lighten past 8 maybe 9 if we are lucky but that’s pushing it using 30 vol already. The sparkle with her natural level 2/3 dark hair was just driving her crazy and life’s to short to not have fun hair, so game plan change! I colored her roots, when that was finish being applied, I sectioned her out for a braided balayage and applied that in foils had to remix once and let process for 20 minutes, then heat lamp for another 30. when that was finished we shampooed and towel dried and applied our concoctions of fun colors and let that process. Rinsed again with cool water til ran clear, then trim and blow out. After 5 hours and 15 minutes we are both pretty happy with how the end result came out! This my friends is why it doesn’t take 2 1/2 hours to just get whatever picture you decide to show your stylist, there’s a lot of variables that go into the equation to get the final result. While some things can be done in a day they often take a lot of time, product, and money. During the 5 hours we laughed, had deep conversations, caught up about what her kids were up to, and even got to meet her little sister🥰 This is why I love what I do. She’s feeling beautiful with her bright colors and with no more gray, she got some quality sister time, and I feel blessed to have this job where I can create art that boosts peoples confidence and being apart of each other’s journey through this beautiful thing we call life💖💜🧡💙
