To my beautiful clients,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. After a lot of prayer, reflection, and long conversations with my family, I’ve made the decision that “Waxed and Relaxed” will be closing at the end of March, and I will no longer be taking appointments starting in April.

When I started this business, I never imagined the impact it would have on my life. What began as a unexpected passion became a space filled with conversations, laughter, vulnerability, encouragement, and real connection. So many of you walked in as clients, but over time became friends, confidants, and people I genuinely care about.

You trusted me not only with your services, but with pieces of your life — your stories, your struggles, your celebrations, and your growth. Those moments sitting in my room talking, laughing, sometimes venting or crying, are things I will truly carry with me forever.

Closing this chapter is incredibly bittersweet. While I know it’s the right step for this season of my life, it doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. This business was built with my whole heart, and every one of you played a part in making it what it became.

Thank you for every appointment you booked, every referral you sent, every conversation we shared, and every bit of support you gave me along the way. You allowed me to live out a dream, and that is something I will never take for granted.

My books will remain open through the end of March if you would like to come in before I close this chapter. It would truly mean so much to see many of you one last time.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of Waxed and Relaxed and part of my life. This space, and all of you, will always hold a very special place in my heart.

I’ve never formally introduced myself on my page or shown my face so HELLO my beautiful babies. I’m Macie and I’m the wax specialist at The Glam Haus. I’ve been here at the salon for 8 months but I’ve been waxing for almost 2 years. I’m a licensed cosmetologist but I fell in love with waxing from the very first day i started. I truly pride myself in making women feel comfortable and creating a safe space for them to experience all the benefits waxing has to offer.

A little about me:
I’m a mommy to 2 beautiful babies. 🩷💙 and have an amazing husband who I’ve been with for the past 8 years, married for 5
I’m originally from New Mexico but moved here 8 years ago (yes to be with my honey lol)
I love sports, former collegiate athlete 🥎 and i LOVE working out.

Most of Macie’s clients come in for a wax every 3-4 weeks and majority don’t have to shave at all in between appointments!
