Let kids have their childhood and leave the 12 step skincare routines to the adults like me preventing wrinkles and wishing i didn't have pores 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Rant of the Day 💄
I've always loved makeup and everything beauty related. About 7 months ago, I started working at Sephora, and I absolutely love it. I love helping people and educating them about products from tweens just starting their beauty journey to older women who share stories about how they did their makeup back in the day.
What breaks my heart, though, is when beautiful women come in and say, “I want my skin to look like this. What can I buy?” while showing me videos of influencers whose photos are edited or whose videos are filmed under perfect lighting that makes everyone's skin look flawless.
As women, it's sad to see how social media has made so many of us feel like we're not beautiful in our own skin because we don't look like an edited image in real life. I've seen women buy every trendy product hoping to achieve that airbrushed look, and it blows my mind because many of them already have the beautiful skin and features they're trying so hard to achieve.
So here's my little two cents I promise you, ladies, that half of the girls you see online myself included do not have perfectly even toned, texture free, poreless skin in real life. We have pores, texture, redness, breakouts, and imperfections. We're human.
We are beautiful exactly as we are.
And honestly, I'm saying this to myself, too, because I fall into that mindset sometimes and catch myself wondering, "Why can't I look like that?" The truth is, most of the time, nobody actually looks like that social media just has us fooled.

Makeup live?!

Y’all!! He’s not called the King of Country for nothing. I laughed, cried, and sang my heart out with H (I’m sure y’all heard me on Snap lol). It was such an incredible experience 🥹 and it wouldn’t have been possible without our sweet friend gifting us those tickets.
I didn’t expect to get so emotional, but singing the same songs H and I sang together from Hereford to Amarillo as teenagers barley dating to now standing side by side hearing and singing them live hit me right in the heart.
Man, we’ve been through so much together but I wouldn't trade some of our lowest days for anything else in this world. I love you my cowboy! 😜😘
