Hello All!!
I’ve been avoiding this post but know I can’t put it off any longer as our business page will soon be taken down.
As many of you know, Mara and I decided to close our beloved Salon at the end of December!
We have been so honored to serve our amazing clients throughout the last 5ish years! It was not an easy decision but the Lord guided us through it all. We have watched God do amazing things in both our friendship and partnership as business owners. We have trusted Him time and time again...so when the time came to close the salon, we knew we needed to trust Him again. Just as we always have.
The Lord had been stirring change in our hearts for a long while but neither of us knew exactly what that looked like until He placed it on my heart to become a stay at home mom and focus on homeschool full time. I avoided it for awhile but couldn’t ignore the call any longer. Mara and I both could feel the inevitable change coming sooner then later.
Owning a business during a pandemic is not easy. Especially when you are a super small business. This in no way was the deciding factor but we both felt as though there was no better time then the present considering what was happening in our world.
We LOVE and ADORE each and every client who walked through our doors. You all were so much more then clients. You are FAMILY! The laughter and tears and heart to heart talks are something we will always cherish!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and loyalty! It was hard to close our door but we know God has his hand in our future and we trust Him fully!

Did you hear the good news?!?! Governor Abbott announced yesterday that all salons will be
RE-OPENING!! First and foremost we are SO excited to see all of you! However, there is a lot that has to happen before we can open our doors again. Specific Guidelines have been put in place to assure the safety of our staff and clientele. Our team will be diligently working the rest of the week to ensure our salon is safe to re-open and that all measures are put in place BEFORE we open our doors. With that being said, our first official day back in the salon will be TUESDAY, MAY 12th!!
We will be announcing our new guidelines for salon operations soon so please keep an eye out for this!
We will also be contacting each one of our clients individually to reschedule you. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US!! We understand you ALL want and need an appt. It will take a lot of time to re-schedule everyone! Many of you pre-book throughout the year and we will be keeping our scheduled clients in their original spots.
We look forward to seeing each of you again soon!
*Side note: We will not be able to perform services on anyone not wearing a mask. If you do not have a mask, please make arrangements now to get one. This is for the safety of our entire staff and clientele. Thank you for your corporation.

It’s been a trying time to say the least! We miss you all but unfortunately Abbott has not released us to open yet. He will re-evaluate on May 18th and maybe phase 2 will include Salons. As soon as we have a exact date we will be in touch with all of our clients to reschedule you! In the mean time, please continue to support local business and Blush Beauty Lounge!! We would love nothing more then to Re-Open our salon and see all of our amazing clients again!! We have had MANY inquiries from clients about when we will be open and if we can start re-booking appts. The answer as of today is unfortunately, NO! Until Abbot announces our exact orders we will not be re-booking anyone at this time. We would hate to have to cancel again.
However, we will be able to sell retail!! Updates on that coming soon!! This will be the only way we can generate some income for the salon. Please consider shopping with us!

Gov. Greg Abbott promises far-reaching announcement on reopening Texas businesses, including restaurants, hair salons The announcement could come as soon as Friday, Abbott said.

We are counting down the days until we see our sweet clients again! You are all in our thoughts and prayers and we absolutely can’t wait to open our doors again! ❤️
** please note: if you receive a confirmation text for an upcoming appt, obviously ignore! We are keeping our appts on the books to make rescheduling everyone easier at a later date!

ATTN: In an effort to do our part in the prevention of spreading COVID-19, we have decided to temporarily close the salon. We will not be taking any appts at this time until it is considered safe to re-open.

Who’s got the hand washing blues?!
OF COURSE it’s a good thing! And OF COURSE our staff is happy to be compliant and do our part by being EXTRA sanitary! But YIKES! Our hands are taking a beating! These FHF hand creams have been our saving grace! Our Shea butter hand creams are thick and silky but absorb nicely without a greasy feel! And they smell DELICIOUS!
We are fully stocked and will accept payment over the phone! You can order via phone or messenger and we will even run it to your car so you don’t have to come in! We are open tomorrow!!!
