Afton Ivey the stylist

I am on a hair H I G H right now and I am loving it! Who else can relate?? Being a hairstylist is the best job I could ever dream of. And this beautiful girl, her hair is M A G I C A L . 🦄 💫

What can I say. This hair made me feel so many good feelings. 💃🏻 She came to me, lost in hopes I could help her in anyway. I colored her hair to make it more natural, and then told her within 2 days we can make her hair dreams come true. 👏🏽 I squeezed her in my schedule so we could get her some frontal extensions to help her feel more confident. 😍 She walked out a different person. She couldn’t help but look at herself in the mirror in disbelief that this was her HAIR! 🙌🏽 This is why I do what I do. I am so grateful for these experiences to help others feel better about themselves. ♥️ Now, isn’t she beautiful? 🌸

Isn’t that the smile of someone who is in love with their hair?? I think so! 🥰 Which means I am one extremely happy hairstylist! 👏🏽

I always get the question, will this color look good on straight hair? The answer is YES. Your color should ALWAYS look good straight not just curled. So here it is! P R O O F . 👊🏼

STOP AND STARE. 🌸 We have been maintaining her balayage for seven months, and decided it’s time to bring her balayage up and brighten her ends! 🌻 She has loved having such low maintenance hair for the past seven months, and she really only needs to freshen up her balayage once, maybe twice a year. 👏🏽 Your hair does not have to be high maintenance! My hair is so low maintenance and that’s all I want for all of my beautiful clients! 🌞

Her hair was almost too long to show off. Not cool, not cool.

Does she look like me or what?? 👯‍♀️
