I was interested in nail for years before I became a Nail technician in 2006. I tried those kits from the big box stores, did the press on and gel till I went to a nail technician that suggested I go to school to learn and become certified. It had not dawned on me that I could do that. She forever changed my direction in work. This was also an answer to prayers of getting me home more to be with my son. I hated the fact I had to work a ton of overtime to support us and have others raise my child. Fast forward to now, I am now a grandma, retired from the state job I had and have expanded my nail shop to teaching others to do what I do. Have a home based salon and become more independent!!! Dreams are accomplished when you take the steps to get them!

Driving to do nails (I'm a traveling nail tech at the moment) early this morning and was late because I couldn't stop crying. Grief hits at so many random times.
Needless to say I truly have the most amazing friend and clients. After a long hug and more crying i got to work and created an awesome set of glow in the dark halloween nails.
I will say I love my lashes. They still looked amazing even after crying. Best invention ever.

I am ready for my first ever cruise. I haven't done my nails since March. And since I'm gonna be on the water i had to do blue and glow in the dark.
What are some last minute must haves for an Alaskan cruise?
