Hello friends!
It has been quite some time since I posted on my business page and I do apologize for my absence on my socials. While I may not have been keeping this page updated on my latest ventures, I have still been managing to keep busy! This being said, I have been experiencing and continue to experience major changes in my personal life over these past few years that has drawn my focus to other things besides being a business owner. As a perfectionist in recovery, this actively bothers me. I want nothing more to be the best in everything that I do, and I don't feel like I've been giving enough to my business to facilitate its growth the way I want it to. So while I've taken several quiet, informal breaks in between busier seasons I wanted to give notice of my first formal hiatus. Please note that my calendar is unavailable for open booking for the remainder of 2024. I want to take some time to consider how to come back better in 2025.
If you have an appointment request, please submit it via my website contact form and I'll see if I can accommodate, as I don't want to leave clients I've provided years of service to hanging (and it'll keep me in practice). My email will be infrequently monitored during this time.

Good Afternoon! I know I've had really limited availability this season due to work, travel, and other scheduled events, but I wanted to give notice that my books will be closed this week (July 23rd-July 30th) because I will be moving.

It's not too often that I get an appointment at 6AM on a Saturday, but when you do, you make a day of it! Started off with Marie's Full Glam session, then spent some time cleaning and reorganizing at the studio while listening to Euphoria's soundtrack (I would argue that the greatest thing to come out of that show for me is my new obsession with Labrinth), then I attended 's first Kindred Soma Yoga class (10/10 would recommend, it was so relaxing), and finished out my day in Des Moines with a Bob Marley from .

Baby we had a tiiime this past Saturday! Thank you to those who thought to snap photos while I was working because Lord knows I don't. 🥴
We've all already received our proofs from Ward Creative Studios so I can't wait to see the final photos everyone chooses!

the first Black Women Empowerment photoshoot! One of my favorites simply because I never imagined at this time that a lot of the women in these photos would go on to be my future clients.
