♦️ Due to the second shutdown, appointments will be changed for the months of December & January! I have a list of clients who’s appointments have been affected and will be changed. I kindly ask you to remain patient and understanding during this process. Also, please keep in mind that I will not be able to “squeeze” you in before the holidays. We’re only allowed to operate at 25% capacity, while keeping the salon sanitized & safe for each and every guest. I’m only one person with so many hours in a day. Please remain patient.

Elexa has been a client of mine for well over a year now- and her goal was to have healthy cool toned, blonde hair. She was originally a level 4/5 when we started.
Fast forward to now- she’s a healthy dimensional blonde (as seen in the 3rd picture above.) She wanted to go a little darker & keep it dimensional (inspired by Kylie Jenners Bronde Blonde) but was a little nervous from a past experience with a previous stylist.
Even though she’s been a loyal client for over a year, I did an in depth consultation with her. (She’s ping ponged this idea for awhile so I wanted to make sure she was 90% sure.)
I had her pull up the photo...asked her to show/ tell me what she liked about that color in the photo and what she didn’t like. From there I told her my game plan and how I’d be using shades EQ gloss on her to create her own bronde blonde look.
Shades EQ is not a permanent hair color! It’s a Demi-permanent hair color that offers gentle processing on the hair to deliver amazing condition & shine benefits & beautiful pigmentations. Because it’s Demi-permanent and keeps the hair healthy, it’s also easy to lift out of the hair, (Incase she wants highlights to go back blonde.)
Once finished, dried and styled she was so happy! Loved that she still felt bright and blonde, yet darker. It’s a custom color that warmed her skin tone and complimented her features on top of making her feel beautiful and confident.

I miss going into the shop, coffee in hand, music playing, oils diffusing, ready to create. Create EffortLyss hair and beautiful bonds with each person who sets foot through the door and sits in the chair. This space has given me enough opportunities, growth, love, laughter and memories to last a lifetime! And for that, I’m eternally grateful.
Grateful for each and every client who has trusted & supported me, to help me chase after my own dreams and passion. Y’all have truly been through it all with me and I cherish each and every moment, always. Throughout the highs and lows we’ve made it through it all together. (With a little help from tarot readings, sage and essential oil cleanses & rituals😉🤍✨)
I truly, truly love and appreciate you all SO much- my heart can’t even handle it. I’ve NEVER seen myself owning a business, or becoming a hairstylist. But damn y’all- I’m so thankful and proud to be here with each and everyone of you🥺🦋🤍✨ I can’t wait to get back to business and welcome you all with open arms into our new space come 2021!! As you all know- the governor has mandated Erie counties (non essential) businesses to shut down...again as of today, Friday November 20th 2020 until further notice.
