Studio X The Art of Hair would like to welcome Kathryn Craven and Paula Michaud to our amazing talented team of Stylists here at Studio X.
They both come to us with many years of experience and knowledge of the wonderful beauty industry .

We’re Re-opening
Good morning! We hope you are all staying healthy and sane !
In Order for us to open we have some strict guidelines and protocols to follow so with that being said please be patient with us as this all new territory for all .

1. We will only be taking appointments at the present time the online booking is currently shut off due to the fact we need ample time after each client to sanitize. There will be no double booking just one client at a time.

2.When arriving please WAIT IN YOUR CAR WE cannot stress this enough, we need to take extra measures in between clients to make sure you are safe as possible and we will do that but we need you to do your part also . Please text your Stylist to let her know you are here and we will proceed to let you in . You must have a mask on and if not one will be provided for a fee of $3.00.

3. We will be taking our own temperature daily and logging our results . Each individual Stylists may also take your temperature and will be briefly screened for COVID19 symptoms. If screened positive neither Stylist or client will be allowed to stay in the salon.

4.Our service menu will temporarily be comprised of strictly haircuts, and root touch ups, this means no blow drying, hilights , waxing, perms etc. This part pains us so much as it pains you . As time progresses we hope we can add back those services slowly and safely.

6. We will adhere to a strict under 8 person max in the salon, this includes all the Stylists, any extra people accompanying your service will need to wait in the car and we ask that you strictly follow the 6 ft social distancing rule as much as possible in the shop . In addition the coffee bar and magazines have been removed temporarily for cross contamination and the waiting area is closed .

7. If you need retail products please ask your Stylist to retrieve it for you as we are trying to limit cross contamination . Less touch is better .

8.If you currently are not scheduled in the month of May please reach out to your Stylists. We are trying to get everyone back in the books on a regular basis again .

Lastly we appreciate your patience and observances of these guidelines , we ask that you be patient with us if your appointment starts a little later than planned as this is new to all of us and we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and to do our jobs with the best quality we can in a timely manner . We are excited to be able to see you all again and hope you will help in this by being aware of the guidelines.

This is how we all feel as Stylists right now 😒

To all my fellow hairstylist in Georgia. It’s 10:00 pm. In 12 hours or less the doors of so many salons will be open for business for the first time in weeks.

Take a breath. Not only do you face the new guidelines, and seeing some of your clients again but you also face the possibility of some very heavy emotions.

Know that I am thinking of you. Know that many are thinking of you.
When your day is done- we are hear to listen. Because that is part of what we do.

I am wishing you all a great day tomorrow. Stay healthy. Stay safe. And above all don’t let anyone stress you out!

Here is some guidelines that the state of Georgia wants stylists to do .......

Good evening to all our salon clients.

As soon as we get a definite date for reopening the salon and the new rules and regulations according to the CDC and Board of Cosmetology for your safety and ours , We will begin rescheduling each and everyone of you as soon as we can.
This will be a process and will take some time but we want to get this right and be compliant.
We ask for your patience and appreciate your continued support and hope you all are doing well .
We are extremely eager as each of you to return to a new semblance of normal whatever that will be.

Can’t wait to see all of you soon.... hopefully!!!
