Why use Vitamin C?

Vitamin C inhibits the breakdown of collagen and helps protect against free radical damage on the skin. Not only does it neutralize free radical damage, but it also helps the skin look more firm, and bright. This is especially important during the hot summer months.

Hi Everyone! 🙋‍♀️

It's been a while so I wanted to update everyone how I have been keeping my clients and myself safe nowadays.

✔No more than 2 appointments per day spaced at least an hour apart for thorough cleaning.

✔Hepa Air Filter that runs constantly.

✔COVID screening before each appointment.

✔All clients take their shoes off before they enter my treatment room. Any extra Items are then placed in a sealed bin. Cell Phones are disinfected if you choose to have it on you during your treatment. Also, we will both sanitize our hands before you enter.

Self-care can still happen safely!

This year has had its challenges and unfortunately, Maskne or Mask Acne is another challenge popping up (literally).

What is it?

Masks create a hot and humid environment where bacteria are formed and they also create friction on your skin. With the constant rubbing, your skin's natural shedding is disrupted. This is the perfect combination for inflammation and clogged pores. Even if you are not normally acne-prone.

How To Prevent Maskne:

✔️If you wear cloth masks, make sure you wash them daily with fragrance-free detergent and no dryer sheets.
✔️If you wear disposable masks, make sure to use a new one every day.
✔️Make sure you are giving your skin time to breathe. Take off your mask when you're in your car or at your house.
✔️Do not wear makeup where your mask sits. This will make the problem far worse.
✔️Have an established skincare routine and wash your face morning and night. This will help get rid of bacteria and keep your face clean.
✔️Avoid heavy moisturizers and use a lightweight one instead.
✔️Drink plenty of water.
