Looks like Dr. Jason Fung MD is confused about calories in vs. calories out (again) 😑 As per usual, Jason makes false claims like if you track calories it will slow your metabolism. Yes if you eat in a calorie deficit your metabolism will slow as you lose weight… it also slows to THE SAME EXTENT if you lose weight via fasting Also in the HUMAN RANDOMIZED CONTROL TRIALS where they equate weekly calories between fasting & non fasting protocols, people lose the SAME amount of fat Also saying calories in vs calories out is fat shaming is hilarious since he famously fat shamed 2 obesity researchers at a conference a few years ago Jason, if you want I’m willing to fly to Canada to help explain this very basic concept for you. I’ll even bring crayons to draw it out for you 👊
