It has been my intention from the very beginning of my career as a therapeutic massage therapist to help raise the standard within my profession. Excellent therapists do exist who do not have Board Certification but there are also a great many massage therapists who are just going through the motions or worse. I believe that increasing the bar for professionalism, ethics and knowledge within massage therapy can help us all move forward from the days of rub downs and sexualization and help to bring health and client centered, research informed care to all people.
I am proud to now have the highest certification for my profession.

I’m very grateful for all the wonderful word of mouth that is helping me work with more great people! And at the same time, I worry that it is getting more difficult to get on the schedule.
