Hi everyone
Unfortunately I have not heard any solid date on when hairstylists will legally be able to work again in Hawaii. My husband has just received his transition date today so sadly our time in Hawaii is coming to an end and we will be moving soon. At the moment taking into consideration the timeframe for our move and the current situation for work I am not planning on continuing to do hair here before we leave. I will be posting more products that I will be selling on here and to the local auction pages to get ready for our move.
I truly appreciate all of you for supporting me and making my time here in Hawaii wonderful.

Color correction by doing a root melt and toning 🖤 swipe to see before pics

This is a lil walk through of one of my awesome client’s hair journey.
1. Previously lightened, Virgin regrowth, and previously colored hair.
2. After one session of lightening you see 3 tones from the difference in lightening 3 different hair histories.
3. First round of blues
4. After another round of lightening and balancing the different colors then a blue on top.
5. Regrowth that was really grown out and we lightened then I put a toner just to shift the tone to be wearable until next session of lightening. Some people may not have liked this root color but we agreed in doing this because it was less time, money, and damage to move forward at our next visit which was not too long after this.
6. Another session of lightening regrowth and removing a bit of the blue.
7. Pink put over and a bit of purple coming through
There are a lot of steps here getting to one color and then another. What you want will not always be achieved in one session and when having a hair goal that needs multiple sessions you need to be open with your expectations or express to your stylist what they are so that they have an opportunity to tell you if your expectations are realistic or not for that appointment. A lot of times the first session can be just prepping the hair for the next session to get you to your goal. The goal is always to leave with hair that is wearable.
