Shaping in progress ✨

I normally have my client sit up during the shaping process to check and match the eyebrows properly.

When clients are lying down, the face can relax differently, and gravity can slightly change how the brows appear. Sitting them up helps me see the brows from a natural angle and make sure they look balanced, even, and flattering.

Small details make a big difference in creating beautiful brows. 💕

My name Vivian Barnes. I’ve been in this industry for over 20 years. And when I learn something new, I’m just like you.

I practice.

🔐At least 10-20 times a day and every day.

When I started these new strokes technique, I had no idea what I was doing. My sketches were messy. My lines were inconsistent. I felt discouraged.

Did I feel disappointed? Yes.
Did I want to quit? Absolutely.

But I DIDN’T

Because I understand mastering any craft takes discipline, patience, and humility 💪🏼

After two months of consistent practice, I’m proud of my progress — not because it’s perfect, but because I didn’t stop 🏆

And I promise you… I’ll keep getting better.

So if you’re frustrated right now, please don’t quit.

Every artist you admire once had shaky hands too.
