Low energy is not always “just stress.”
Sometimes your body is trying to tell you something.

Here are some labs we commonly recommend patients discuss with their primary care provider when they want to get to the bottom of fatigue, brain fog, poor recovery, or feeling “off.”

CBC (Complete Blood Count)
Looks for anemia, infection patterns, and immune system changes that can contribute to fatigue.

CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel)
Evaluates liver function, kidney function, electrolytes, blood sugar, and protein status.

Ferritin
Measures stored iron. Patients can experience fatigue, hair loss, dizziness, and poor exercise tolerance even when iron is technically “normal.”

Iron Panel (Iron, TIBC, Iron Saturation)
Helps assess how well your body is transporting and utilizing iron.

Vitamin D
Low vitamin D is incredibly common and may contribute to fatigue, mood changes, poor immune function, and muscle weakness.

Vitamin B12
Important for nervous system function, energy production, and brain health.

Folate
Works closely with B12 in methylation, red blood cell production, and cellular repair.

TSH
A screening marker for thyroid function, but not always the full picture.

Free T4 + Free T3
Shows how much thyroid hormone is available and active in the body.

Thyroid Antibodies (TPO + Thyroglobulin Antibodies)
Can help identify autoimmune thyroid conditions that may develop long before thyroid labs become severely abnormal.

Hemoglobin A1c
Measures average blood sugar over about 3 months.

Fasting Insulin
One of the most overlooked markers in fatigue and metabolic dysfunction. Insulin resistance can exist years before diabetes develops.

hs-CRP
A marker of systemic inflammation that may contribute to low energy, poor recovery, and chronic symptoms.

Testosterone Panel
Low testosterone can contribute to fatigue, low motivation, poor muscle recovery, brain fog, and reduced resilience in BOTH men and women.

This gives us a starting point. You can request these labs from your P*P, or comment “labs” and order them directly through our Labshop for $124.

Your labs should be interpreted with a provider for your most optimal outcome.

Most people aren’t lazy.
They’re depleted.

When your nervous system has been under stress for too long, your body stops prioritizing performance and starts prioritizing survival.

That can look like:

* needing caffeine just to function
* feeling “unmotivated”
* brain fog
* poor recovery
* weight resistance
* crashing by the afternoon

You don’t always need more discipline.
Sometimes your body needs restoration, regulation, and the right signals to recover.

At The Wellness Lounge, we look deeper at the patterns driving fatigue so we can help you understand what your body actually needs, not just push through it harder.

Schedule your personalized energy assessment today to start getting answers and start feeling like yourself again.

Most people think hormones are only about estrogen, testosterone, menopause, libido, or weight gain.

But hormones are far more than that.

They are the communication system coordinating nearly every function inside the body.

Energy.
Sleep.
Metabolism.
Mood.
Recovery.
Stress resilience.
Fertility.
Inflammation.
Circadian rhythm.

The body does not function through isolated systems. It functions through constant communication.

This is why symptoms rarely exist in isolation.

Chronic fatigue may not simply be “low energy.”
Weight resistance may not simply be a calorie issue.
Poor sleep may not just be stress.
Anxiety may not exist independently from physiology.
Hormonal symptoms are often the result of a larger communication breakdown occurring throughout the body.

At The Wellness Lounge, we approach hormone health by looking at the entire orchestra, not just one instrument.

Because the goal is not silencing one hormone.

The goal is restoring harmony.

Most people are not struggling because they “need more discipline.”

They are struggling because their body is running on depleted reserves.

Fatigue is rarely just about being busy. Brain fog, poor recovery, burnout, sleep disruption, inflammation, hormone imbalances, nervous system dysregulation, nutrient depletion, and metabolic stress can all contribute to feeling exhausted even when you are trying to take care of yourself.

At The Wellness Lounge, we approach energy differently.

Our Energy Restoration Program is designed to help uncover the physiologic barriers contributing to low energy and poor resilience through diagnostic-driven integrative care tailored to your biology.

This is not about masking symptoms with another quick fix.

It is about understanding why your body is struggling in the first place and creating a strategic plan to restore function, recovery, and resilience.

If you are tired of being told everything is “normal” while still not feeling like yourself, this program was built for you.

Limited spots available.

We believe prioritizing mothers should be more than just a day, science demonstrates prioritizing the health of moms is better for the health of the family.

Modern medicine is increasingly validating something many Eastern healing traditions understood long ago: the health of the mother shapes the health of future generations.

Pregnancy is not simply a nine month event. It is a biologic window where stress, nutrition, inflammation, sleep, nervous system regulation, and emotional wellbeing can influence fetal development, immune function, metabolism, and long term health outcomes.

Ancient systems like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda prioritized deep nourishment and restoration for mothers because they recognized that maternal depletion affects far more than one individual.

Today, research in epigenetics, neuroscience, and developmental biology supports many of these concepts.

Supporting maternal health is not indulgent.
It is preventative medicine.

When we care for women more comprehensively before pregnancy, during pregnancy, postpartum, and throughout motherhood we are investing in healthier families, healthier children, and healthier communities.

You’re not lazy.
You’re not unmotivated.
You’re not “just tired”.

With every poll we’ve conducted over 86% of you have responded that you have experienced low energy. THAT’S HUGE! Fatigue is often your body signaling that something deeper is off.

At The Wellness Lounge, we identify the type of energy depletion you’re experiencing and build a plan around your physiology.

Real, sustainable energy isn’t created with more caffeine, it’s created by supporting how your body actually functions.

Women have been underserved in healthcare for far too long. Many women will see multiple providers, sometimes five or more, before receiving a clear diagnosis, often being told their symptoms are “normal,” “stress-related,” or simply dismissed. For decades, research has disproportionately focused on male physiology, leaving critical gaps in our understanding of how female hormones, cycles, and biology truly function in real time. Women are often labeled as “too complex” or “too variable,” when in reality, that variability is the very thing that deserves deeper attention and study.

The truth is, women are not unpredictable, they are dynamic. Hormones shift, metabolism adapts, and the nervous system responds uniquely to stress, environment, and life stage. This is exactly why a one-size-fits-all approach fails so many women.

The exciting shift happening right now in healthcare is the move toward personalized, data-driven care. It is powerful when you begin working with a provider who is actually tracking your symptoms, your labs, your cycle, your progress, and adjusting your plan accordingly. This is where real change happens.

No two women will ever have the exact same experience, which is why individualized care is not a luxury, it is necessary. You deserve a provider who is paying attention, who is measuring outcomes, and who is committed to understanding how your body responds over time.

This is one of the many reasons we’re passionate about personalized health care.

Most people assume if something “didn’t work,” it means the therapy isn’t effective.

But in reality, we see this every day:
Patients were never given a therapeutic dose to begin with. Meaning, there weren’t given a dose designed for their specific needs.

There’s a massive gap between:
• What’s considered “safe and standard”
• And what actually creates change in the body

Closing that gap is where real medicine happens.

Book your diagnostic consult today to get a plan going that will meet your specific needs!
