Community Highlight: Alaska Men's Run - June 13

Join the 31st Annual Alaska Men's Run on June 13th at Kincaid Park for a 5 mile run or a 2 mile walk! This event is one of the oldest in the state, raising funds and awareness to fund educational activities, health awareness, promote early detection, and provide financial aid to patients and agencies fighting prostate and testicular cancer.

The first 200 participants will score an Alaska Men's Run T-shirt! Participants may also elect not to receive a shirt and donate that towards the cause.

Why Not Tri is just around the corner, and while registration is sold out there is still opportunity to join the fun - VOLUNTEER! WNT is looking for volunteers to help make this a great event. There is help needed as lap counters in the pool, transition support, as well as help out on course keeping racers safe. Sign up for one shift and you will get a FREE T-shirt!

Community Highlight: 12th Annual Snow City Cafe Rainbow Run 5K - June 23

he Rainbow Run is back again for Pride Month on the downtown Anchorage course! Starting next to the Delaney Park Strip downtown, take a tour of ANC's beautiful urban trail system & celebrate all that the Alaskan summer has to offer. There's tons of fun planned on the Park Strip, featuring Daphne Do All La Chores, a photo van to capture memories, and lots of treats provided from local businesses. Altra will be joining the festivities with demos! Celebrate Pride as a community, help support some amazing people, and have an amazing time celebrating each other. See you on the trail!
