Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been nothing short of AMAZING. You are smart, strong, resilient, and carry a light that can’t be dimmed. I see your greatness, I see your growth, and I am SO proud of you.

Through every season every laugh, every lesson, every challenge you’ve continued to rise. And baby, that’s what makes you HER. 💅🏾✨

This weekend was my first time serving as a Delegate Assembly (DA) Delegate for NEA-Alaska and I’m leaving it feeling proud, energized, and even more committed to the work.

I didn’t come to just “sit in the room.” I came to participate, speak up, and stand in the gap for our educators and our students—especially those who are too often overlooked.

I listened, learned, asked questions, voted with purpose, and showed up fully because representation matters and our voices deserve to be in every space where decisions are made.

Grateful for the opportunity, and even more grateful for the reminder that when we organize, we move mountains.
This is only the beginning. 💪🏾📚✊🏾

I can’t even begin as an educator in Alaska we never see excitement in real time like this I feel like I was on the red carpet except I was really close…eeeeekkkkk🥰 I’m just an educator a special education teacher that some how was allowed to be in these beautiful people world they were all so nice and human I was so scared to ask for photos I mean they were not there for that and there were SOOOOOOOOOO MANY MORE I can’t believe I missed Kimmel😭…. But these beautiful people made my weekend this has been such a blessed year for me as a social justice advocate for education and in the process of becoming a leader one day… my man told me one day people will be fan girling over you too love 💞🥰 idk maybe one day… until then remember my name Roz’lyn the educator and powerhouse from Anchorage Alaska 🫶🏾
