As we lock up the salon for the final time in 2025, we can’t help but pause and reflect with full hearts.

This year brought big changes, including opening our new salon space, and none of it would have been possible without you. To our loyal clients who followed us, supported us, shared our name, booked appointments, referred friends, and cheered us on in both big and small ways—thank you. Your trust and continued support mean more than words can say.

We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built and nurtured this year, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead. In 2026, we can’t wait to welcome new faces through our doors while continuing to grow, connect, and create with our amazing current clients.

Exciting Update! ✨

At the beginning of this year, we started a complete remodel of what will soon be The Color Palette Studio — a space built from the ground up with so much love, creativity, and intention.

It’s been such an incredible journey watching it all come together — every color, detail, and design choice reflects what I want this space to feel like: calm, beautiful, and welcoming for every guest who walks through the door.

This has definitely been an exciting year, both professionally and personally! So grateful for my clients continued support ❤️, and if you’re a potential new client, please feel free to reach out. I would love to see you in my chair!

✨ Big News! ✨

After an incredible journey at Soho, it’s bittersweet to announce that my time there has come to an end—but with that, an exciting new chapter begins!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that my friend and I are opening our very own salon! Starting in March, you’ll notice your appointments will be over at our new space.
I will still continue to own and operate my business independently and so will Alyssa! We will just be sharing our space. We’re still putting the final touches together, but we can’t wait to reveal our location, products, and all the exciting things we have planned for our amazing clients!

I know many of you were wondering if I was moving out to Wasilla, but I’m happy to say I’ll be staying right here in Anchorage, just a short distance from Soho for your convenience!

This has been a lifelong dream, and I truly can’t believe it’s happening. I wouldn’t be here without the support of my incredible clients, family, and friends—thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me. I can’t wait to welcome you all into our new space and continue doing what I love!

I’m Carrie, the owner of The Color Palette by Carrie here in Anchorage, Alaska. With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, I bring a passion for crafting customized looks that leave you feeling confident and refreshed.

I’m a trained Vidal Sassoon hair colorist, specializing in Blonding services, lived-in and natural colors, and Brazilian Blowouts. My approach is all about personalization—I take the time to truly understand your hair goals and deliver results tailored to you. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, my mission is to bring out your best.

At The Color Palette by Carrie, you’ll enjoy a one-on-one, relaxing experience. My space is thoughtfully designed to provide a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I offer an assortment of snacks, beverages, and a quiet retreat from your daily hustle, because self-care should feel like a treat!

Continuing education is very important to me, and I strive to stay on top of the latest techniques and trends to ensure I’m bringing you the best products and services the industry has to offer.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me enjoying my family, traveling, spending time with with my fur baby Sitka, reading, and (maybe) enjoying a little reality tv.
