After almost 6 years, I have a pretty big announcement to make. 🤍

As of September 22nd, I will no longer be taking permanent makeup clients.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision for me. I have held onto permanent makeup for a long time because I truly love my clients and the relationships I’ve built with so many of you over the years. Walking away from that part has not been easy.

But I also know when it’s time to listen to where my heart is pulling me.

Permanent makeup came into my life during a time when I really needed it. It gave me something to pour myself into, helped me build a business I was incredibly proud of, and introduced me to some of the most amazing people. I will always, always be grateful for what this chapter gave me.

Over the last year, though, my life and my interests have shifted. My heart is in growing Lively Lemon Lemonade and continuing to build my Medicare business. Those are the things I see myself doing long term, and they give me the flexibility to grow, travel, move around when the time comes, and build the kind of life I want for my future. If you know me, you know this has been a very important factor in my life.

The truth is, I’ve been holding onto permanent makeup mostly because I didn’t want to leave my existing clients. But I’m spread too thin trying to do everything, and I finally had to admit to myself that it’s time to let this part go.

For my current clients: If you would like one final touch up with me before I close my books, please message me as soon as possible. I will likely only be opening about three days between now and September 22nd, with Tuesdays being the days I am primarily booking. Unfortunately, I will not have weekend availability.

To every single person who has trusted me with your face over the last almost six years, thank you. Thank you for sitting in my chair, referring your friends, sharing my work, supporting my business, and in so many cases becoming much more than just a client. You all are what helped me finally feel like I was part of something and I will never forget it.

This wasn’t an easy decision. But I know it’s the right one.

I just had someone show up for a touch up and I was a couple minutes behind (quite literally a couple minutes) because I did a 16 mile bike ride this weekend and my left knee is hurt and I’m limping everywhere. I had my daughter let her know I’ll have her come in in a couple minutes (it was 9:56 at this point). I went to let her in at 10:03 and she was in her truck driving away. She didn’t text, call, or message and didn’t answer when I called her, nor responded to my text.

Let it be known, that I will never tolerate that kind of behavior. Life happens. I have clients all the time the come in a few minutes late, we can all give grace to each other.

I understand I was a few minutes behind, and not intentionally - but driving away and saying nothing and not even attempting to speak to me is a different kind of inconsideration.

While I genuinely apologize for my lag time time this morning, please know you’ll never be on my books again.

As summer is lemonade 🍋 season, I am going to be spending most of my time working this business, as it truly brings me so much joy. Friends, it’s been a whirlwind last few months and I have been out of commission, from being injured, then surgery, then sick TWICE (ridiculous). HOWEVER, I am back a couple days a week and want to get you in!
