Here’s to results + relaxation this week. 💗

If you missed my reel yesterday, I shared my current college goals:
1. Complete my bachelor’s degree in English
2. Earn my master’s degree in education
Why?
First, I love to write—and I want to keep growing as a writer for my Substack, my children’s books, and whatever else I may write well into my golden years.
Second, I’m already building a new chapter in education through esthetics.
I’ve developed a continuing-education curriculum approved by the South Carolina Board of Cosmetology, and eventually, I would also love to teach the Methods of Teaching course that helps licensed professionals pursue instructor licensure.
Here’s the part that surprises people: in South Carolina, an instructor teaching that Board-approved Methods of Teaching course must either hold a master’s degree in education or demonstrate expertise in a related field that the Board specifically approves.
Yes—you read that correctly. A master’s degree in education is one of the pathways into teaching the teachers within our industry.
So that’s another reason I returned to college. I’m a summit conqueror, and apparently, this particular summit has graduate school at the top. 😉
The beautiful part? This path brings together everything I love: writing, curriculum development, esthetics, and education. Every piece fits.
And while I’m learning and growing, I’m already teaching.
If you are a licensed cosmetology professional in South Carolina—or know someone who is—please spread the word:
My Board-approved, self-paced continuing-education course covers safety and sanitation in reference to microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels.
The Board sent a renewal reminder yesterday, so don’t wait until the last minute. Complete your required hours early—the reporting process takes time, and your instructors and the approval team at USC work hard behind the scenes to make sure those hours count.
Learn with me. I’m continuing to learn right alongside you as I work toward providing the very best in professional education.

A little vision for where the treatment room is headed… ✨
Light linens. Gentle aromas. Soft music. Thoughtfully chosen professional skincare. A peaceful space where your skin—and the rest of you—can finally exhale.
My approach is becoming clearer every day: effective, customized treatments delivered in a calm, breathable environment. Every detail is being chosen with intention to support your comfort, your skin, and a true sense of rest.
Because your skin deserves thoughtful care—and your nervous system deserves softness, too.
Results + relaxation. That’s the experience I’m building for you. 🤍
