Fiber is so important, not only for our gut health, but our overall health as well. The standard American diet is largely deficient in fiber. Most Americans only get about HALF of the daily recommended amount of 21-25 grams per day (for women). It is also WAY better for our bodies to get the real thing than supplement with pills or powders.
βοΈ It is also important to note, If you are not used to eating the recommended amount of daily fiber, increase it SLOWLY over time.βοΈ
You will be amazed at what fiber really can do for your gut health (and overall health).
