One of my absolute FAVORITE parts of my job is educating clients! So many people get overwhelmed by the myriad of tutorials and “holy grail products.” Especially in the curly hair world! ⁠

I love breaking through the noise and sitting down with clients and helping them understand their unique hair needs. I’m a firm believer in Keep it Simple and when your hair is healthy and happy, you don’t need 5+ products to keep it that way! ⁠

"Am I supposed to be shampooing multiple times?" ⁠

Short answer: Most likely yes! 🧖‍♀️⁠

Long answer: For those of us that go multiple days between washing our hair, we all will most likely need to shampoo 2-3 times! ⁠
⁠
I personally go 2-4 days between shampooing and will usually wash 2-3 times! ⁠
⁠
With multiple days of oil, sweat, dry shampoo and hairspray, it might take a few tries to get everything squeaky clean!⁠

I typically like to use a shampoo that bubbles suuuper well first (the Metal Detox shampoo is my fav!) then something that is more treatment based (I usually alternate between R+co Super Garden and R+co Bleu Essential!) ⁠
