s to our colleagues… we are all family. We are proud to say that three of our stylists have been a part of our team since opening our doors in 1981; our other colleagues also have many years of experience. We believe as stylists that this is not our job but our profession and we are here to share our skills with our clients and their families. We have grown our friendship over the past 30 years by proudly supporting our community through various charities and activities along the way. Hair West is a proud supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness in memory of Debby Lourens, one of our team members we lost to this terrible disease in 2005. Innovation and Education are crucial to our success at Hair West. We were the first to introduce tanning beds to Ankeny in 1982. Plus, we continue our quest to be leaders in the industry as Lorrie Hudson-Bjorgo and Kelsey Stoat in addition to being stylists for the salon are educators for Keune Haircosmetics, our Chemical Service and Wet Line products we represent in our salon. As educators, Lorrie and Kelsey travel around the world educating stylists on the latest techniques in color, cutting and styling. Since 2009 they have taught in places ranging from Amsterdam, Netherlands, Honolulu, Hawaii to numerous stops across the United States including cities like Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Beverly Hills and many others.
