Mothers of the bride and groom are often very nervous about getting makeup done, they’re afraid of looking overdone, or looking “older” than they are. I don’t blame them as lately I’ve seen some makeup applications on mothers, go very, very wrong. Way too heavy and not the right placement of color or products 😳 Something that looks great on a 20/30 year old does not translate the same to a 50/60/70/80+ year old face.

Mom makeup is one of my very favorite things to do, because seeing them look in the mirror and instantly feel at ease, beautiful and confident is a feeling I’ll never get tired of! 🥰

I use products and techniques that I’ve perfected over my 23 years of doing makeup, to create perfected, luminous skin that does not accentuate lines or texture. I also love to accentuate eyes with my lifting shadow technique and custom individual lashes. As we age we do need quite a bit more definition in the lash lines (I usually stick with a brown, plum, khaki or navy, rather than black because it can be too harsh).
