Tunnels under Main Street....

A bit of history that we have been curious about for 35 years. In the lower level of the former Annekes Downtown Hair Co had an entrance to the underground tunnels. In the lower level of the Hair salon beneath the sidewalk was the beginning or at least an opening that previously led to the underground unknown.
At one point in time there was moisture seeping through the lower front area. This was brought to the attention of the building owners that eventually needed work done. After discovering this area it was eventually filled in with concrete by the landlords or the city, not sure which.
It is a cool bit of history but has not just recently been discovered.

Brain powered by creativity, adaptability, attention to detail, AND COFFEE. Don't ever forget the coffee. ☕️
